FAQ
Practical answers.
Straight answers for commissioning a serious design project.
- Does the studio accept every project?
- No. MDORRA takes on a limited number of commissions at a time to keep full design involvement through delivery. Selectivity protects the depth of each project.
- What types of projects do you take on?
- Villas, high-end apartments, offices and commercial spaces where design matters. Commissions are accepted selectively — projects where the design can genuinely make a difference.
- Do you work outside Egypt?
- Yes. International commissions — including the Gulf — are assessed individually, coordinated remotely and supported on site as the project requires.
- Do you work with clients remotely?
- Yes. Design is developed digitally with a clear communication cadence, and site presence is scheduled where the project needs it.
- What does the design process include?
- A defined process: brief, direction, design, development and delivery — with the studio involved through execution.
- Can you work from existing architectural drawings?
- Yes. The studio works from existing drawings and documentation, integrating the new design with what is already established.
- Do you handle execution?
- Design is the studio's front-facing work. Execution experience shapes every decision — and where the project calls for it, delivery is part of the service.
- Do you provide 3D visualization?
- Yes. Visualization is part of the design process — used to test and communicate decisions before anything is built.
- How do I start a project?
- Write to the studio through the contact page with the project intent and scope. We respond directly, define the first phase precisely, and take on a limited number of commissions at a time.
